Influences of the Internet TAG!

1. Did other blogs convince you to start up your own?

Yes, I was most inspired to create a blog by April from A Girl's Guide to Life, and a couple of other blogs as well.  

2. Have you joined a site because someone else in the blogosphere did?

Not yet! I've checked out a few store websites mentioned by other bloggers since joining Blogger, though.  

3. Is there a tip/regime you've gotten from the internet that you now use?

I learned how to do my makeup and some hairstyles on Youtube! I watched a video on how to curl hair with a straightener and that is how I touch up my curls now.  

4. If your favorite YouTube/Blogger personality likes a product, will that make you buy it?

If it isn't too expensive to ship to Canada, or if it is from a store that we have in Canada! And if they reaaally love it, and I've heard good things from a number of people well then I'm pretty much sold. 

5. What do you look for in a blog that makes you want to follow?

If the blogger has recently posted something that interests me, and the layout is easy to navigate. If they use a really odd, unreadable font I'm less likely to follow. I also love to see pretty pictures, but they have to write too! 

6. Have you ever been deceived by a product that you ordered online? (e.g you thought it would be pink but it was coral)

Well yeah, a few times. The colour has been off on things I've bought, or the fit just looks waaay different on me than it does on the model - but that's not necessarily the company's fault of course. ;) 

7. Have promo pictures and press releases given you the impression that a product will be better than it is?

Hmm, I don't know if I've ever paid attention to that kind of thing. A commercial though, for sure!  

8. Is there a product you could give a 'cult' status for being so good that you discovered through the internet?

I discovered Cetaphil through Youtube and I actually want to go find the original videos that convinced me to buy the face wash and thank those girls a million times. It seriously cleared up my face! But even then, I dunno about a cult status lol. 

9. Is there a product you have tried and hated, but others have loved?

I'm actually not a big fan of Herbal Essences shampoos/conditioners. I used to use them years ago and they made my hair very greasy even though I washed them out completely. Although, at the time I did wash my hair every day and I think my hair may have been producing extra oils to make up for the oils being stripped by washing my hair every day. So who knows? 

10. Is there a Blogger/YouTuber that influences your fashion style? If so, who?

I suppose if I had to choose one, I'd choose Jasmine Blu, because I think she dresses really adorable and she has influenced my style somewhat. I like pastels and crop tops a lot more now haha. But many times she has said that she hates certain trends that I love, so not always!  

11. Is there a Blogger/Youtuber that influences your attitude each day/lifestyle?

No, I can't say there is! I have picked up lifestyle tips here and there, but I can't think of any one person who has influenced me enough to mention! 

12. How much time do you spend on the internet daily?

Basically from the time I get home from school (like 3:30ish) until I go to bed... unless I have a lot of homework. And on weekends.. pretty much all day unless I actually have plans haha.
